Interested in hiring a live in caregiver? The caregiver must live
in your home to provide care for children, the elderly or the
disabled. As the employer, you must reasonably advertise for the
position then obtain a positive labour market opinion for your
offer of employment from (HRSDC) service Canada.
** you will be required to provide information on adequate wage
standards, taxation, health insurance, workers compensation and
other relevant matters.

This program allows for trained caregivers to work in Canada.
To be eligible you must meet 4 main requirements.
Successful completion of a Canadian High School equivalent.
Completion of 6 months of full-time training in a classroom setting
or 12 months of full-time paid employment, including at least
6 months of continuous employment in a field or a profession related
to the position you are seeking as a live in caregiver.
** Training or experience must be in areas such as; early childhood
education, geriatric care, pediatric nursing or first aid.

After working two years
