Business Immigrants:
are selected based on their ability to become economically established in Canada.

There are three Business categories to choose from:
Investors: The investor program promotes applicants with business experience and their capital to Canada. Investors must demonstrate business experience and legally obtained minimum net worth of $800,000.00 CAD and must make an investment of $400,000.00 CAD.

Entrepreneurs: The entrepreneur program is best suited for applicants with business experience who will own and actively manage businesses in Canada. Entrepreneurs must demonstrate business experience and a minimum legally obtained net worth of $300,000.00 CAD and is subjected to conditions upon arrival in Canada.

Self Employed: The self employed program promotes interested applicants who have the intention and ability to become self employed in Canada. The applicant is required to have relevant work experience in culture, athletics or farm management to seek immigration to Canada.

Provincial Business Programs: Most provinces in Canada have an agreement with the government of Canada to nominate candidates destined to their provinces. Manitoba for example has a provincial program, which authorizes the province of Manitoba to recruit, screen and nominate qualified business people from around the world who have the intent and ability to move to Canada and establish or purchase a business.
